It all depends on the couple. I have heard and read that if a healthy couple has not conceived in the first year of trying, that u should see a reproductive endocronoligist (RE) if you are under 25 (i think). If you are over 25 and have not succeeded in 6 months, that is when they recommend seeing an RE. Hope this helps. I am 24, and it has taken 31 months to conceive my second child.

If you have been having sexual intercourse two or three times a week at about the time of ovulation, without any form of birth control for a year or more and are not pregnant, you meet the definition of being infertile. Pregnancy may still occur spontaneously, but from a statistical point of view, the chances are decreasing and you may now want to start thinking about seeking medical help. There is no "right" time to do so - and if it is causing you anxiety and worry, then you should consult a doctor.

For a healthy young couple it can take up to a year, but that does not mean it will take a year. An older healthy couple (35+) or a couple that has faced fertility or cervical problems it is two years. Best of luck. It can take longer for some people or shorter, when it is time it is time.

It only takes one time to concieve. Don't set your heart on statistics. If you have sex during your fertile period chances are high that you will concieve. It took 6 months for my first child but each subsequent child was only 1-2 months. My cousin however tried for years until she finally concieved. Each person is different. If it's meant to be it will be. Good luck!

A healthy couple can technically conceive on the first try, a lot of factors come to play in conception. There are alot of web sites out there that can go into more detail then this. During your ovulation is supposedly the best time to conceive. Try brushing up on these, and i know how most women are when it comes to this subject, you think you know everything, but I'm willing to take a bet that most dont know as much as they think they do.

It really depends on each individual couple. I have always gotten pregnant within a few months of trying. Others take longer. I think the important thing is that if you want to get pregnant, and haven't after a year, then see your doctor. If you are over 35 and haven't gotten pregnant after six months of trying, see your doctor.

Its a year....!But if your over 35 i think they say you should see the doctor after 6 months of trying only cause it gets harder when you get a little older and you might need a little help but younger then that its a year of trying. Are you timing it right, try some ovulation kits.. I'm sure it will happen .good luck

It only took us a month after going off the pill. Every person is different though.
