i agree with you totally !
Come on, we are all only human, and mistakes will be made by every color out there..........Blacks as well make racist remarks all the time....No one is excluded.....Even black government officials make racist remarks all the time...and they mean it!
Nothing is said to or about them..Why? The Hecklers demand money to be compensated, Give me a break, yet this would not have happened if they hadn't heckled him....They could have just left if they didn't think he was funny.(all water under the bridge now)
Michael apologized and is doing community work so lets go on with life...

That apology was FAR from sincere. After watching it several times it was FORCED. I can't stand people who are bi-polar. They're really scary. Most celebrities are weird anyway. Sure they are all glammed up for the camera and they just shine like the brightest star. But if you actually meet a lot of them, or see the way they act candid. They are really bizzare. More bizzare than non celebrities. Just look at Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Sharon Stone, Tom Cruise, Danny Bonodoochy (or however his sorry excuse for being famous name is spelled)....god why can't I think of anyone else? I was just thinking about these kinds of people the other night too. Well anyway, those kinds of people are just in their own little world and it's very creepy.

I love Michael Richards. He was hilarious as Kramer. I feel sorry for the guy too. I think he was being heckled and got very irritated and said some very nasty things to the hecklers. But, then again, they were hecklers, what did they expect? If you're going to be a jerk to someone, why are you shocked when that person gets angry and throws it back at you? We all get angry at times and say things that we don't really mean and then feel very sorry for after wards. We just don't have the news media standing there and writing down every word we are saying and making mountains out of mole hills. I think Michael Richards truly feels sorry for what he said and has apologized in every way possible. People need to let it go and move on.

I think less of him...I was a big fan before this.
In my wildest rage, those racist words he used, would never come out of my mouth because it's not in me.
Those thoughts/words/idea's were "in" him...and in a moment of uncontrolled anger...out they came.
His apology was more about how upset he is that this all happened then what he actually felt and said to those men.
And I don't care if he was being heckled or not - there is never an excuse to use such racist language.

I still like watching the Sienfield re-runs. The stuff he said was a little too much to feel sorry for him.

I think it was overblown and minor compared to all the criminals and terrorists in the world.
The media is screwed up. They need to get their priorities straight.
He's still funny as Kramer on Seinfeld.

I find it funny how people make him out to be Adolf Hitler for saying a word yet it's forgivable for pro athletes to beat thier wife (or murder them like O.J.) or have kids from 6 different women. People need to give him a break, oh that's right they're all perfect and have never used a racial slang thier entire life....

At this point I don't really care what happens to him.
If people want to see him then let him do his thing.
However I'll never feel the same way about him.

I totally agree with you. Everyone slips up once in awhile. Celebrities just happen to have their slip-ups on National Television.

I defintily think its wrong to FINE him, just cuz he's a celebrity. To say the n-word was pretty harsh, though.
