greed, lust, anger makes a person look stupid, why does the person do not realize the consequence he/ she would face, if the person makes a decision based on greed or lust or anger?

Let's break these things down, and I will show you that they are not necessarily always bad things.
Greed: This may give you the drive to accomplish more things than you thought that you could ever do!
Lust: If people don't feel lust towards anyone, then they wouldn't bother having sex and the human race would cease to exist!
Anger: This can be a great motivator. For example, say you were the victim of a crime. Your anger can help you be strong enough to testify at the person's trial and make sure that they are punished for what they did.

They can . All that is necessary is conditioning and purifying your mind , the more you read the bible the closer you are to attaining your goal .
