Motorcycle Clubs have become a part of our culture, including Doctor's, Lawyer's & Judges...etc.. However, there are afew " Hard Core Scooter Trash " folks left out there, Bless'em and I consider myself one of those riders (after 50 years of riding I can say that), but I do like that the image has changed, as the police don't hasstle us as they once did.

Officially probably so, but they're generally 60 year old men.
Since regular culture doesn't ride motorcycles, typically, then by defautl a motorcycle gang is counter culture.

Pretty much. Two opposing gangs had a massive riot in 2002 in a casino in Laughlin, Nevada, resulting in some murders of gang members.

Yes! Outlaw motorcycle gangs are still alive and breathing. They are still dangerous and pose a serious threat. Outlaw motorcycle gangs play a greater role in the rural setting along interstate highways. Although they commit numerous types of crimes, they are best known for drug trafficking, protection racketeering, and witness intimidation. The major gangs in my area are the Hell's Angels and the Mongols. I suggest doing more research on this topic. It is quite interesting (well...to me it is!). You will not believe the things they do!

Ditto (Harley Redneck). . I don't think the club that works with the USMC for Toys for Tots is "counter culture". Only 'gang' we have where I live is Mexican Mafia, and they don't ride.
