In situations like this, u should back out and find another guy. There r billions of guys out there and there r better ones. Would u want to destroy a friendship just for a guy? On the other hand, u can ask him out, it's fine but ur friend's gonna find out sooner or later. Most people wouldn't understand but you can just hope that your friend's the kind who understands. (20% of the time)
It's your choice, either you want friendship or you want this guy.

Tell her if u can ask him out and if she says no then make up your mind best friend or a guy.

who cares what she'll think just ask him out and if she gets mad then tell her its just a another guy and tell fer you don't want to get in a fight with her cuz your friends.

talk to her about it, but be considerate. its a delicate issue. dont say 'are you ever going to ask him out' or 'since youre never going to i'll go out with him'
