They each think that they are better than the other.

Sunnis don't share the Shiite allegiance to Ali and Hussain - and think that the Shia practice a perverted form of Islam, especially through such things as their practice of mourning the various dead imams (the largest of which is the Ashura festival honoring Hussain), and their belief in the eventual earthly reappearance of the 12th imam. Some Sunnis actually discount that Shias are even Muslim.

While the Shia feel as though the Sunnis have only worked to oppress them and attempt to eradicate their political and social rights.

The Druze are often considered an Islamic sect, although they themselves do not. They do not practice the 5 pillars of Islam, which is central to the faith, and they do not have the same belief in prophets - and this means they are definitely not considered Muslim by other Muslims. The Druze are actually a pretty secretive group and a lot is unknown about their belief system and specific practices.

The Shiites pretend they are the legitimate heirs to the succession of the Prophet. The Sunni pretend that their are the democratically chosen successors to the prophet. The Druzzes are Christian and would appreciate to be left in peace. The Shiites represent about 11% of the Muslim population of the word. My humble opinion is that with so few representatives they are making a lot of troubles to everybody else in the world.
