I really think it's a normal thing little boys go through, I am a preschool teacher and I have had a similar experience. I think it just comes with the territory.

I don't think it is so sexual as to what we think of sexual. It sounds like you are a cool teacher and these boys have a crush on you. They are just competing with one another when it came to you and I believe that is all it is about. If they did not get into a competition, then nothing would have ever been said probably. In fact, they probably said whatever came to their mind at the time without thinking of what they were saying.
I have 3 boys, ages 14, 11 and 2. I definately seem to know a little about boys and how they think. In fact, my boys are very open with me and I am very open with them. I believe from my conversations with my boys and other kids that this is a normal thing! I would not worry about it too much because at that age, tomorrow it could be fighting over who can get the farthest in the coolest video game. Just means you are an important part of their lives and they admire and look up to you and that is probably what started the competition. That is what boys do the best......compete. It is natural for them. LOL!

I think they are slightly young for fantasies. But, children now a days are not stupid and they know more than they should. It sounds like an attempt to sound cool with "the guys" (geeze they are starting early, aren't they?) Boys will be boys. I don't think it is anything to worry about. And I also wouldn't reprimand the boys, then the one that told you may be teased, or shunned from the group. As you know forming bonds, and friendships are a very important part of the childrens lives at this point.
When I was in the 2nd grade, myself and a guy friend of mine used to talk about breaking into ppls houses and drinking budwieser....lol....too much television. We thought it made us sound cool....kids say the darndest things!

Children fantasize about people they admire, and even though it seems sexual, it isn't always about that. I am an adult female, I have fantasized about women before, but I generally prefer men. I wouldn't worry, I think it sounds normal. Also what RoRobface says above about Freud and sex is right on the money.

The last boy doesn't seem to much to worry about, but other two are NOT acting normal for 6 yr olds; they're either picking that stuff up for society (tv, radio, older friends) or family.
Now, kids can be "sexually aware" (for lack of better term) at young ages, but when that happens their sexually oriented thoughts aren't targeted at intercourse - they usually just exhibit biological symptoms that usually accompany when he/she is sexually attracted to another person.
You really should tell their parents about what they're saying. Nip it in the bud, I say.

Well, I'm not so sure about 6 year olds, but 6th graders. With all the sexual input children are getting today, it's bound to manifest younger and younger. Villi Palau was pretty young when he and LeTourneau started things...

Unfortunately given the crap that kids are exposed to early in their development it is not surprising nor uncommon anymore for little boys to act this way. There is a bit of innocence lost with two of the boys and one is still innocent.

I honestly think you should tell these boys parents because in todays society THEY (6yr olds) Could get in a lot of trouble and so could you if someone took them seriously. Don't laugh, watch the news...It happens more and more.
I know it is not true but just imagine how your life could be turned upside down just by a single public accusation!!!!!!!!!

If you believe in Freudian stuff, than yes it is normal. To other people, it might just seem like a phase that they are going through. If it is really serious than talk to the school psychologist.

NO!!!! It's waaaaay too young. Now 12 or 13, I would say that is a bit normal. But then again, children know way too much stuff now.
