A Bihar lawyer filed a case of obscenity against Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan for a kissing scene in their latest film 'Dhoom 2'.

Sudhir Kumar Ojha, a lawyer in Muzaffarpur civil court, filed his petition in the chief judicial magistrate's court in Muzaffarpur, alleging that public sentiment had been hurt by the 'vulgar kissing scene'.

'The scene hurt millions of families. It is immoral and promotes something alien to our culture. Taken this in view, I filed a complaint against Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan,' he said.


Would you believe such a crap, its not that it was nude kissing scene or any other vulgar form. Just for a kiss(normal one) one will go all the way to the court, it all happens only in India

This is rough PR to promote the motion picture which completely ignores the work force involved, i.e., the actors themselves.
Maybe being an actor isn't the most dignified job in the world since you are basically a Scaramouche entertaining people. But it is a job. People are doing it for a living. And for themselves, for professional satisfaction & self-respect, they are trying to do their best, to perform high-class.
An actor is not at liberty to decide what he is doing in an entreprise, theatre or film. He is obeying the director, who has his own vision of the final product. The director has a screenplay written by the author. If you write something, you give directions to see that the final result resembles the ideas in your head. All thel staff depends on the producer, who can influence the process to make sure the outcome brings money. Because one has to pay the salaries! A film company makes a film to make money. What is more, to make profit. The producer decides most of the stuff.
Any actor is a slave of his or her employers. So it is unjust to critise people for doing their job well.
Who will benefit from the scandal? The filmmakers will get more money, because people will go & pay to see the film. The lawyers will make both money & professional reputation.
The only ones who will feel uncomfortable will be Aishwarya & Hrithnik because their names are being dragged in the mud as if they were asocial beings behaving immorally in public IN REAL LIFE. Cinema is an illusion, not real life. They had the demands of the job.
You don't say Rekha is a prostitute because she did a tawaif character in Umrao Jaan. The actors are not their characters.

Nothing .. its not the first time someone has given kiss on the screen.. i guess who are saying againt it didn;t see Imran hasmi movie. Thats the only reason... i guess it is perfectly allrite and ok kiss scence between them ... nnot a big deal.

dunno yaar...i jst downloaded the movie n saw it....its jst a 2 sec clip and i dunno whts so great abt it...maybe they use their tongues and kissed like that it might have offended quite a few ppl........
