I have plenty of sparkly green fabric, but I'm leaving for a dress rehearsal for my ice skating show in about 30 minutes. Sooo I just decided to make a mini skirt because I have no other green bottoms.

I was wondering if its possible to do it just by cutting out a large donut shape, making a slit in it and putting a bit of elastic in that.

So quick, what'd be fastest, easiest and most effective? I don't need to hem atm.

Make it a wrap-type of skirt. just wrap it around your body like you would a towel, except, take a strip of fabric and just do a dot stich at each end to make a tie and tie it around you. That should do it.

To me its per how your gown. My in demand mixture for a woman is a very good pair of trainers with a knee-lenght skirt. Mini skirts may well be cool as properly, yet i'm not into the long skirts that pass down way below the knees.

yeah, do that. not. I don't think its going to look very good at any rate. doing it in thirty min. and all. but you could cut out a length of fabric that would fit around you and sew the two ends together. but whatever.
I would just cut the bottom off a skirt i already have

but wrap it around your body to get the right size. and just sew up the seam to keep it together. safety pin it to your underwear if you don't have enough time to put elastic in for a waist band. good luck!

donut shape might not work as well, try a wrap around style and then sew...
