I did a quick research. You probably mean that you are looking for a Sun destination. In Florida, the water temperature is too cold from North Florida to Jupiter. Miami beach is the better as it is in the South.
With the site bellow: price by person if buying 2 air-planes tickets and 1 room for 2 persons, 4 nights.

I would rather go in Puerto Rico~
2 star hotel: Comfort Inn, San Juan $578
1 star hotel: 3 choices under $500.
I love Puerto Rico, better if it was your first trip over there.

Yeah, give me your e-mail Im a travel agent, but usually southwest has great deals. It also depends when you want to go, the earlier you book the more you save. Also Allegiant air has really great deals if you can find an airport that carries them.
