As far as I know Science is about the "How". Creationism is about the "Who". Its about "we don't know how life evolved, but we can guess who did it"... the exact opposite of science which aims at how it all happened. I read a lot of criticism about Creationism, and I respect it as a belief, but seriously where is the beef? What it has to do with science?
Please I don't want to hear Atheists for now. I really want to know the other point of view!
If there is an intelligent designer, how creationism explains the origin of life better than evolution. Does it tell us "How" it happened in a more logical way, or is it about "Let there be DNA" kind of magic?

How said "It takes faith to believe in science"?
I know for fact that there is gravity and what goes up, must come down!

I don't believe Creationism has anything to do with science. Scientists don't "believe" in evolution. Evolution is a fact, not a belief and a great deal of research supports and verifies that organisms evolve. Alternatively, many people "believe" in God. Because religion requires faith. Creationism is a poor attempt to mix two very different things. And I personally don't see why someone who believes in God couldn't also understand and appreciate the facts behind genetics, biology and evolution.

Well :)
First it takes faith to believe in God.
It takes faith to believe in science.
It takes faith to be a atheist. (afterall you must believe there is no God)
Now "evolution is a fact"? I don't know what books they are reading but not real ones. Scientist have so little to go on. They constantly blow it.
Even scientist say that science is not about facts, it is about theory. Do some research, they say it.
These days scientists are the "gods" of old rome. Full of wonders and signs, but lack any substance to save you from death.
I believe in God and creation (so those can now laugh and automatically throw out my post). Why should I place my faith in a man?
I used to be very much into science. Then when I went to examine it found that it was all fluff without substance.
Almost EVERY "fact" taught to children in school when examined turns into theory. Maybe people don't know what a theory is?
the·o·ry
1) A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.
2) The branch of a science or art consisting of its explanatory statements, accepted principles, and methods of analysis, as opposed to practice: a fine musician who had never studied theory.
3) A set of theorems that constitute a systematic view of a branch of mathematics.
4) Abstract reasoning; speculation: a decision based on experience rather than theory.
5) A belief or principle that guides action or assists comprehension or judgment: staked out the house on the theory that criminals usually return to the scene of the crime.
6) An assumption based on limited information or knowledge; a conjecture.
There you go.
Assumptions, theories, speculations, statements or principles devised to explain.
"No, it's all facts". When people say that they show they haven't actually looked at it.
I agree completely that belief in God takes faith. Well? So?
By the way now they say they found water on mars (well maybe not, just gullies, trenches, or.... well?).
Of course that meteor with "signs of life" turned out to be..... nothing.
How about that skull? "Pre-historic man".... well no, just an old pigs skull.
I'll have faith in God, you have faith in them.

Creationism is the belief that a higher being created the universe. the "beef" between scientist and believers of creationism is that scientist basicly want to see cold hard proof. but like believers of creationism, scientist have faith also. Creationalist can't scientificaly prove that there is a higher being, but scientist can't scientificaly prove that there isn't. see where i'm going with this? the scientist just want facts and things they can prove. But they're "proof" of how the world got to be is just theories. believers of creation is based on faith. i would tell you everything, but i don't wanna seem like i'm writing too much.

Believing that some being, generally God, created the universe instead of believing in The Big Bang theory or the theory where the cloud of molecules had some reaction and since then outer space is constantly expanding.

creationism is the belief that god created all things through intelligent desisn but it seems you already know that. It says in the bible that god created man in his own image so we are kinda like god but not nearly as cool.
god says that man has been around since the 4th or 5th day of creation or somthing like that, i'm not exatley sure. but four or five of his days might not be four or five of our days. but when god created man, he made us how we are. he designed every thing about us. another verse in the bible talks about how he knows every hair on our heads and such so he wouold all of our dna. another kinda of branch of creaionism is that god put life on the earth and then let it evolve, i personally don't believe thats how it happened but just so you know as much as possible. hope i helped. e-mail me if you need more

Basically creationists believe that God created life, earth etc.
How did he create life, earth and etc? Read the bible.
Where did God come from? " God Always Has Been and Always Will Be"
That’s about it.

I'm a Jehovah's Witness and believe very strongly in Creationism. One of the easiest ways to explain my belief is through our literature...so please take a look at the website below.
