when you were in your teens did your mom obligated you to wear a tigh girdle, a corset ou a tight belt around your waist to help create a small waistline and a nice body? it worked? did you accepted this or did you "revolt" against it?

That is terrible if a mother would do that to her daughter. She should promote healthy body image, not try to shape her daughter to make her more physically attractive according to some skewed standards.

If the girl is overweight, teach her to be healthy. If she's healthy, and just doesn't have an hourglass shape, tell her she's beautiful as she is. You don't need a small waist to have a nice body.

My mother never made me do anything like that. When I was in my teens there were garter belts and girdles, but no one's mother (that I knew) was trying to control their daughter that way. Good grief!

no my mom never makes me were a tight gurltle or a tight belt. honestly i think she could care less if it looked like i had hips

no it sounds like your mom is obessing you over ur waiste. i have a tiny waiste so i never had to worry bout dis. but you should tell your mom how you feel and not do it unless u like the way u look wit it

It's extremely unhealthy for a child to wear a corset or tight girdle. They change the child's natural physiology and cause severe health problems.

It can cause health problems in adults, too, when abused.

In my opinion, it's child abuse.

No, I am already tiny. I am told I have an "hour glass" figure. I never noticed til I was beig measured for a dress.
