I was 10 years old when John Lennon died, and didn't understand who he was, his place in the world, or why all the adults around me were suddenly so sad.

Now, as an adult, I get it, and it makes me sad to think about it.

Every once in a while, we have to be reminded how incongruous we can really are as a species. Lennon's murder is just one example. No sense can be made of that at all.

Just such a huge loss for all of us. Now more than ever, we need to give peace a chance.

I still miss him but not Yoko so much. I can remember exactly what i was doing when I heard the news. It's a shame. I will play his songs tomorrow in his memory. Especially "Imagine". and "So This Is Christmas".

Just wondering if he is alive today, would his new songs/material be relevant today? Would teenagers today relate to his works? I believe even JL is alive today he would slowly fade into oblivion just like his counterpart Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
