They said they won’t even consider getting married until gay marriage is legalized in the US. “Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able.”
I think this is the most absurd thing I've ever heard! Why don't they decide to stop eating until everyone in the world who wants to eat is fed? Or stop making movies until everyone who wants to see a movie can go free.
What is WITH these celebrities???

I agree with you. It's a stupid reason not to marry.
You know, I have a good reason .... how about for their kids?
They're just pompous celebs who drag their adopted kids around the world to show "see what we did! Look how noble we are!".

I agree it's ridiculous. But to defend the comment, most everyone says something silly once in a while. Celebrities are unfortunate because any gaff is reported on TV, the web, the radio, the magazines etc. So they don't get much of a break.
Of course, they do have a lot of power and money. So I don't feel bad for them for long.

Honestly I think that they both are stupid anyways. Yes it was a stupid thing to say it is absurd, .. but what is even more disturbing is that he was married to Jennifer and then 2 weeks after his marriage ended he went and had a baby and adopted all those kids.. now I AM NOT SAYING ANYTHING BAD ABOUT PEOPLE THAT ADOPT CHILDREN BY ANY MEANS.. what I am saying is that is crazy to make all life altering disecsions in that small amt of time. just my opinion

Brad tried to make a "statement" that he thought would score points with gay people...I don't think it's such a unrealistic request...but i think he expected to get more of a response than he got...Personally, I agree with him...most of my gay friends have been together longer than any heterosexual couples that I know...it is what it is, and our society needs to be a bit more open minded...what's it going to hurt if they do get the right to marry? They would be able to receive the same benefits straight marriages get and that's not asking for any more than we have...

They're not going to last, and they know it. Neither of them is marriage material, and thats why they won't get married. Brad is a frat boy for life, and Angelina is a freak at heart.

not to be rude,
but they know they dont really want to get married, because legalization in the states is years away and heck,
may not even happen.
I think this is angelina's way of looking humanitarian ( which she actually is by the way) and covering her butt. She just wanted kids and brad.

Obviously they will say anything just to get more publicity and to get people to keep talking about them. Personally I could care less if they get married or not, and maybe they shouldn't since they have both failed miserably at it already.

I don't care about either one of those homewreckers. If they get married, fine and if not, fine. But, personally I don't think either one of them wants to get married again.
