MOTOROLA L7 SLVR FOR CINGULAR. is it worth it?

Question

For christmas i had asked for the moto slvr l7 for cingular wireless. I am not entirley sure if it is worth it and christmas is in 17 days now. I am not due for an upgrade so it would cost $350.00 and my parents arent to happy with this gift i am asking for.(whos parent would be? lol) If anyone has this phone please tell me some good qualities and features about it. In your opion can you please right me a short descriptive summary? Im in desparte help and i know the only cingular itunes phones are slvr fazr v3i and the rokr and im defintley not getting the rokr, everyone has the razr and its very expensive and i do like the slvr. someone help me. I have seen every cingular phone they have to offer. I am a phonaholic. help me? thanks

I would wait for a phone thatsworth buying instead of rushing into a dumb phonelike the L7....i hatethe shape/ size of it and find it to be paifuly difficult to find anyway to either protect it or carry it,because of itsodd shape and size ....prefer smaler flip phones without stupid buttons on the sides which get hit and do annoying things like turn off the ringer when you didn't intend to ...
350 for a bad upgrade is no answer....i'd buy a good i- pod and a 200 dollar digital camera and be way happier keeping my current phone .... explore your options by thinking outside the box and stop being a cell phone junkie...just cuz they advertise it hard doesn't mean it's any good... look at the razr for example lots of people have em and most hate them...

I have the slvr L7. I got it off of ebay for like $100 and then just used my sim card in it. Its ok. I like that it can hold music. However, the amount of music it holds depends on the size of the flash card (not your sim card) that it has in it. I was dissapointed in the size of the card in mine, it only holds like 10 songs. i'll probably buy a bigger card off of ebay. Also, sometimes it saves the pictures blurry but not always. The camera in my v551 phone was much better although this one takes better pictures in darker light when it decides to save them correctly. I liked that the phone was all metal and is more durable than most since I went through 5 phones in one year. Another thing is that since its not a flip phone, you'll end up calling people at all hours of the night by accidently hitting the buttons in your purse. You'll like the motorola phone tools program that comes with it. You can put your own ringtones and pictures on the phone (and take them off too) without paying for them. I found the only major difference between the v551 and this one is the itunes, which like i said, dissapointed me.

yes, you re a phonaholic. buts its ok. the slvr is the same thing as the rzr, its just longer. give your parents a break ask for Wii instead, and wait for the next generation of cool phones when you upgrade rolls around. you know they are only going to get better, not worse. and 350.00 is ALOT for a phone when its already inferrior to some of the samsung products out right now. for that much you could even have a sidekick!

I had a motorola v3 rm & it became into extreme-high quality basically for its soft seems. I on no account chanced on it to be very sensible because of the fact the recption became into undesirable besides because of the fact the battery means & its digital camera 7 messaging purposes werent too super. I offered it & now I actually have a sony ericsson.. it works 10 circumstances greater efficient.

i have the razr and it is the smae phone as the slvr-same features. i have had quite a few diffulcultes with mine but they are deff cool phones. i like the looks =]]

the break so easily and they might look cool but theyll be out of seasn in a little and oull have to buy a whole new phone
