I dont like chat rooms much...there is just a bunch of people chatting to each other....and there is a lot of people wanting the same things. If you want more of a one-on-one kinda thing, download ICQ....its free. They have a directory with a person's profile and you can contact them. There are people all over the world you can contact for friendship, etc. I found this was the best way for me to meet people. I have a good friend in Canada I am planning to meet next year. I have met two people I now consider close friends because of ICQ. I have met people in person, I also have friendhships just through chatting. Chat rooms are pretty impersonal things and if you want more, then the one-on-one chat is the way to go. You can try it and if you dont like it, you can go back to the chat rooms...It costs you nothing to try......good luck.

Well the big problem on yahoo is all the Spam Bots... There are so many that some rooms don't have a single real person in it. Yahoo needs to fix it, or lose the chat business to other companies like aol.

if u cant find a chat room just 2 make friends.. visit my 360 and u can chat (make sure its clean chat) with my friends there.They are all friendly and very nice.
