The problem wiht today's society isn't because of drugs, or AIDS, or guns, or poverty, or unwed mothers. Our world is faced with all these problems because people are trying to fill themselves with false love and satisfaction. So many woman grow up with the idea that they aren't good enough, and they don't get the love they need from there fathers and mothers, and so they throw themselves at the world looking for love and acceptance. Parents: your teenage daughter isn't acting like a tramp because its cool she's doing it because she doesn't have enough self respect; and your teenage son is not doing steroids to do better, its so he will finally be good enough. All children want is to be loved and accepted by their parents; sons want to be told they are strong, smart, and good looking; and daughters want to be told they are beautiful, captivating, and loveable. Parents give your children Love, show them what true Love is, and make sure they know they are always worth it...always!

Such a pretty song....makes me sad because I have 4 sons and no daughters, always makes me get teary.
What you wrote is true, too. People don't show enough love anymore. And we're turning into very hard, uncaring people.

I'm always good to my family, it's them that take advantage of me
at time's. Not all the time because they know I have my limits on
a lots of stuff. I give what I can and I don't give what I can not give
them. I tell them how much I love and appreciate what they do. My
22 year old has done a lot for me and I have done a lot for her as
well. I have a 9 year old and she too does a lot for me and still learning the routine on a Lot's of stuff. If for any reason I get upset
at my 9 year old then I sit down and talk to her and let her know
how I feel, same goes for my eldest daughter. I don't treat any
one different. Although everyone has their own personality, that
is something different from scolding a child then knowing how they act as a person. I have two grand-daughters and I love them
very much and I tell them every time I see them. And before we
go to bed we would give a group hug and sing Barney song
I LOVE YOU. This song has been going strong for 22 years and
it'll never stop, not as long as we keep it going strong. And your right every parent should show their child their loving and affection. Cause without that love they will never know how it feels coming from from their parent. And were not saying every parents doesn't participate, but their is a lot of kids that never
experienced it either. So give a kid a hug and kiss just because.

From one source, the biggest problem in the U.S.A. is lack of fathers. So many children are abandoned by their fathers (or sperm donors), be it emotionally, physically, or mentally. Every child needs BOTH parents. A father can never replace a mother, & a mother can never replace a father. I understand that mothers (or child bearers) also abandon their children, but the males do it the most. It is very sad what it does to society, & the bad cycles need to be broken. The effects are wide spread. If the parents are not willing to commit to one another for life (& hopefully these people are wed, not shacking up) & work on being good parents, they have no business making babies.

Thats the biggest load of bull sh** i ever heard.
My father was an abusive alcoholic.. i'm not a sl*t. my brothers going to be a father soon and will be the BEST father because of what we've been through. We're stronger people not weaker ppl becuz of what we've been through.
Its how the kids take the situation they've been in, some people turn their lives around after a bad child hood, some people just fall into the same hole as their parents.
Yeah you should treat your kids well but when you grow up you are a reflection of your own self not your parents. Everyone knows whats wrong and whats right, no one has an excuse for the way they act. Everyone has choices... so don't blame what people do wrong on their parents.... they know its wrong and it is NEVER an excuse

Are you asking or sharing?LOL Anyway thanks for providing the opening ofr us to talk about it. Hey! Why not suggest to yahoo that we open a PARENTS FORUM? Sounds like fun to me! Then we can have some kids join the fray to talk about their problems and we resolve it.
You are definitely right about the parents situation right now!Look!
A parent goes to work, really work hard for the kid's future.
Both of them leave so early and the kids are left at day care centers.Comes home from work tired and stressed to bother with the kids.
The kids grow up wanting love but gets it from friends who are either into drugs or bad vices.
Finally the parents have so much money but no more kids to think about coz they don't want to go Ivy league schools, new car ,fancy clothes etc. some of them also ended up dead-from gang wars.
I gave up a high paying job to be with my kids. When I was working I saved so much and scrimped on things that are not necessary. I survived w/o a credit card for years. Now all my money is stashed in a bank earning interests. Every morning I cook their breakfast, pray and eat together.Weekends are spent
wherever they want. Now my son is complaining "I am getting sick of you Dad! "after saying "You are the greatest Dad in the world" and would not let you go of his embrace.
I am done chasing after the wind!-doing things to impress other people, earning money so I can buy a fancy car, signature clothes, huge mansions.
I have found my treasure-my children-who will be going to college soon and are socially responsible citizens who are active in charity and social work. And goes home looking for their parents to embrace and shower with kisses.
You,people who will read or answer this question- what is your goal?
p.s.
Asker- mail me.I am serious about Parent's forum.

Your special occasion - and a reason for the kinfolk to have fun - so make it particular for you! Have your mom/daughter dance! possibly a line dance for the three of you would be relaxing - like the bus end or united states or blend of them. %. a music and then have relaxing with the choreography - you need to initiate you and your mom, and then %. up your sister and then your grandmother or something.

They lie about him, he is our role model:
This is the story of the best man who walked on earth:
On the authority of Lady Aisha (Allah be pleased with her) reports: “I have never encountered anyone that resembled the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) more than Fatima (his daughter) (Allah be pleased with her) in manner, likeness and speech. When she (Fatima) comes to visit him (the Messenger of Allah) stands (to welcome her), take her by her hand, kiss her and make her sit in his place. And when he (Allah bless him & give him peace) used to visit her, she would stand up, take him by the hand, kiss him, and make him sit where she was sitting.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, no. 5175 & al-Bukhari, Adab al-Mufrad)
