Lots of things. 20/50, .4, 40%, etc. How about a clue as to what the question is asking?

You can multiply both the numerator and the denominator by any number, but it has to be the same. For example, 2 / 5 = 4 / 10 = 8 / 20 etc.
As a decimal, 2/5 = 40/100 = .4 = 40%

A lot of answer are... multiply each side by the same number. For instance:
2/5 *2/2= 4/10
2/5 *5/5= 10/25
2/5 *10/10= 20/50
Good luck..hope this helps.

Hi Loveable - what's the weather like in Peoria today?

the answer is B - 8/20.

Take your original fraction - 2/5.

Multiply each side by 4. So you have 2x4/5x4 = 8/20

It's the same as saying 4/10 or 16/40

Hope that helps!

Easy way to think of it. If you divide 100 into 5 equal parts, each part is 20. You want to add two of those parts, which will get you 40. Once you've determined that, divide the answers by 100 to get the decimel value.
