possibly many human beings do not prefer to make the attempt or make the attempt to reply to severe questions. I take from that the prospect that they don't prefer to apply the potential it takes to truly think of with regard to the question, style an opinion, and communicate their techniques wisely, on an identical time as exhibiting no disrespect for others on the communicate board. After dealing with the day after day hindrances of their lives, such because of the fact the difficulty of the international and their own own problems, maximum persons are particularly overwhelmed. they have little or no stamina left to furnish plenty theory to the rest that seems too severe. There are nevertheless many persons who like severe questions and likewise adore the humorous, witty, and the absurd. shop your questions coming Daisy, whether or not they are severe or playful, you're doing a super provider to the Y/A Seniors community.

I'd give the better of the two answers the "best answer" award then re-phrase the question and post it in a different category at a different time, maybe on a weekend instead of a weekday, in an evening instead of the day, that sort of thing.

Of course, the worthless git that keeps reporting me would turn me in for "repeated postings" but, hey, with any luck he's back on his meds and won't notice that I reposted.

it would absolutely suck. so many people think you are joking around when you ask a question, even if you are being serious. it's just the way it is- it's the internet! same thing goes for picking best answers- no one takes the time to do it!! don't worry, i feel your pain. but there's simply no way of making people answer you question. you just have to face it and move on. :)

I'd believe that the jokers were out at that time, and maybe repost it later at night or early in the day to see how it flew then. Or just possibly, not everyone wants to click a bunch of links to find out what you're asking about...could be?

I'd assume I picked a bad time to ask.

Do NOT ask the same question again. I did that when I got few answers to one of my questions, just phrasing it differently and posting in a different category, and some tattling troll turned me in so they both got deleted.

Maybe if you'd chosen a different category to ask in? I try to be careful about what category I choose since that can make a significant difference in participation...
