Is it possible to make an online version of .Hack, on the Wii?

I was thinking about it, as i'm sure alot of other people are, and was thinking, if we have created the wii,Ps3 and the X-box, why can't we create an onlie version of 'The World'? The creators would make alot of money of it, and we already have mmorpg games to base it the game off of, please, any ideas if they can have a game made before 2015?

I would say yes to an extent, that the game could be made, but certain features like the vr goggles that they have would not be readily available because that level of detail is not yet available and it would cost too much to uy one for the standard user, that is part of what makes "the world" so big, that and "the world" runs on its own operating system, so if they made something like that it may be monopolized by a particular one or have to have a brand new one designed if they truly want it to be as good as the .hack one is.
I would really like to see something like that, but i dont thing it will be anytime soon if you truly want the kind of experience that they have in the show

Its possible...and I would love to see one someday. The series is populaur both in Japan and America and rumors of one have been discussed, but nothing is on paper...

With headsets and the ability to connect to the internet on the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360, it might not be too far off. But its creating a world like .hack I though...since the characters have goggles in order to play the game and immerse themselves into 'The World', its more a virtual reality game. I think I read somewhere where it has been created (virutal reality games) but we probably won't see it for several years.
