The best thing that happened to me this year is that my husband and I finally got to move back to the town that we've always loved after a 28 year absence. We originally moved because we had to take care of family members over the years, and now it's our turn to "go home" again.
The worst thing. . .well, there really wasn't a worst thing. Leaving our friends and church was tough, but this decision was the best all the way around for us. Having my husband gone for almost eight months (except for weekends) was rough, too, until we could get all the details of the move worked out. But it could've been a lot worse, and things all came together at last.
And the funniest thing -- hmm, this is going to sound odd, but when my father in law passed away, I suggested that we bury him with some Cheezits and a candy bar. (He was diabetic, had congestive heart failure, and still tried to sneak stuff into the house that he knew he wasn't supposed to have.) I said that way, he'd get to pull the wool over our eyes at last!
The rest of the family thought it was a hilarious idea, so he was laid to rest with a pocketful of candy bars and Cheezits! RIP, Dad. . .you got away with being sneaky at last!

well to me this is really funny. I was on a bus with a friend. We are the only race besides black. So on our way to this event, this black girl stands up and started to say she was "Negro-Phobic" out loud to our instructor, she was just kidding of course. But me and my friend looked back and said "Wow, You too!?" (we were just playing around, and they know it) But the whole bus at the back started to stand up and started to spaz out. We just laughed all the way back to school, thought we were going to get jumped.

I finally got a job.
I wasn't able to go to school for financial reasons.
A bunch of crap fell on my head at work when I was talking to somebody.
