How do you ask for this lifestyle without feeling like a complete idiot.What do you do if your hubby says that hes not into it or thinks its kinky.I believe that the majority of marriages could be saved if women submitted and obeyed.What religions promote it besides islam.??

Rather than feeling like an idiot, look at your asking him as the first submissive act. Whatever comes from that should be OK with you! The ball will be in his court.

I believe Mormons and some other off beat Christianity sects in Utah believe in it. Hindu. Some back woods people in the south believe in it. Where the kinky part you are talking about fits in I have no idea.... This is 2006 not 1806. Marriages would be saved if people would have realistic expectations from marriage before they get married. People are not perfect, therfore marriages can not be perfect.

You don't need a religion to bow down to your husband, you need to find a place where you can be submissive. You need a dominant person to be with. Subs and Doms work well together. It sounds like you and your husband are both subs.
As for religions, you can't get much more female-oppressive than fundamentalist Christianity. Those fundies are mean.
