FACTS:

NEVER use ceder or pine bedding for ANY small animal, it will kill them.

Do not put any kind of drops in guinea pigs water, if you are feeding unlimited timothy hay and pellets (such as oxbow- www.oxbowhay.com) and fresh veggies you dont need it.

Runaround balls and wheels are NOT good for guinea pigs, and shouldnt be used.

Never house Guinea pigs and rabbits together!

Syrian hamsters (called teddybears by petstores) MUST be housed alone. For more help, or more info email me!

I have three male guinea pigs. I use Nutriphase Guinea Pig pellets, Kaytee Timothy hay, Carefresh bedding, and I have a two-level homemade C&C style cage totaling about 25 square feet. All three males live together in the same space, they get along fine since they were introduced so young, and that's it for the animal population of my apartment (unless you count my husband.) The little guys even have their own website:

I have 2 rabbits, both are in cages about 2.5 by 1.5 ft. I'm just about bonding them though, then their cages will be connected along with an area next to their cages. I don't use bedding. I have wood pelleted litter in their litter boxes. They each get 1/3 cup of Kaytee timothy complete each day as well as about 2 cups of leafy greens and unlimited Timothy hay. They also get 4 or more hours of run time each day.

Now, what was your question? I feel like you're trying to answer it for me.

We have dwarf hamsters and a dutch rabbit.

The rabbit has his own litter box in his cage and all the shredded paper he wants. He eats pellets, timothy hay, some seeds and some fresh veggies (carrot, lettuce, & snow peas mainly). He lives alone but his very large cage is in the most used room, so we're always around and he's often out of the age.

The hamsters live in Habitrail cages, separated largely by gender. They eat a mixture of seed and pellet as well as nutrablocks and occasional treats. Their bedding is pine and paper.

I have a rat, I use pine bedding and havent had a problem, I also put paper towels, paper and other items in her cage for her to make her own bedding. I feed her small animal food, and give her fruit loops for treats, she loves cereal. I have taken two cages and put them together so she has lots of room. I have also housed rabbits and guinea pigs together with no problems, the lived to be elderly pets together.

Just my wife and I usually feed her eggs and cheese and use a mattress as bedding and because she is well trained I don't have to keep her caged. She gets along well with the other animals in the house so it's really fun.

ive had all of the above i kept them all in cedar chips and they lived to a ripe old age i used food formulated for each animal bought at petsupermarket keep all your animals seperate as some of the above mentioned are preditory keep males and females seperate unless you want them to breed i never used any drops or anything for my guinea pigs the only bedding that i know is dangerous is corn cob because small animals can choke on it and it gives larger ones sore feet
