For starters, I have loew self confidence. I met my boyfriend a year back and is the only person that ever made me feel beautiful. I also had plans to travel when I met him. I broke up with him a month ago because I wanted to find out who I was and feel beautiful by myself. He even offered to travel with me but I told him I still wanted to break up because he can't put his life on hold for me. I still love him and we still talk and he still loves me and wants to be with me. I'm just wondering if It's ok to leave someone you love for these reasons and if him offering to come with me was normal?

For the rest of your life,you might meet more than one man that love you.But,you only have one you,you have to know who you really are deep down there.Being single is the best way to find yourself.What you need to sacrifice now is wil worth it when you found yourself

You need to get to know yourself and build up your confidence. Start a class or something, meet new people, get out there, and most importantly, try many things and keep doing the things you enjoy.
If he really loves you he should respect that. and if he doesn't there will be other people that will like the new powerful and confident "you". You can't put yourself on hold forever either....
You can travel later on.. even if you were alone you'd enjoy your own company and keep yourself entertained!
It's funny how when you like yourself, people come to you naturally. So don't worry about that.
