Does fracture reduction to straighten a broken nose cause new bruising i.e. black eyes?

Yes, you will probably have some bruising. To minimize bruising, 20 min with ice, 20 min off.
If you have major concerns, talk to your doctor about your concerns.

You could have new bruising but if your doctor knows what he is doing, this is probably the least of your problems.
