In a normal & serious voice, ask her politely and explain your reasoning. If she persists, sit her down & again, in a normal voice, ask her why she is unwilling to stop. Then you work through whatever issue is at the root of the problem.

First of all, You have to understand your wife's love to you. Your wife seems to want more familiar relation with you. And by calling you "sweet cheeks", your wife may feel love for you. But in front of your grandparents, you can be awkward. So, you can tell your wife why you feel uneasy when your wife calls you like that in front of your grandpa. you can say it sincerely and honestly. You have to be very cautious to say it to your wife lest you should hurt your wife's heart.

Tell her to quit calling you "sweet cheeks" in front of your grandparents. If that doesn't work, think of something really embarrassing to call her in front of your grandparents.

First ask her nicely to stop and explain to her you that you don't like it.Now if she does not respect your wishes find a "name" that she despises and start calling her this name in front of her friends and family and see how she likes it ,and tell her you will stop if she stops.Fight fire with fire.

Well Sweet Cheeks..... it's a term of endearment... accept it. Besides, your grandparents probably think it's cute anyway.

Just ask her not to. Don't yell, don't be snotty, just ask nicely. Let her know that your grandparents are from a different generation and you'd like to seem more respectable in their presense. If she knows this and still calls you that in front of them it means she doesn't respect you at all, and this is a deeper problem.

call her a name in front of someone she respects and when she complains, bring this up. Or you could just tell her that you don't like it and it seriously bothers you and if she loves you she'll stop.
