Basically the TNA was made after Vince McMahon killed the WCW, all the people who didn't contract with the WWE clubbed together to make the TNA in an attempt to start again and now just about anyone who leaves the WWE is likely to go to TNA.
IMO in ten years time the wwe will have been put out of business by TNA, tna is the future, wwe is just a soap opera, i've seen eastenders episodes with more fighting in them than a wwe show

Some WCW wrestlers have gone to TNA and TNA will rival WWE just like WCW did.

All the WCW and ECW wrestlers that were rejected by WWE went to TNA.

WCW is basically TNA because TNA is made up of all WCW wrestlers

ECW, NWA/TNA and the former WCW were more independent federations till the WWE bought all of them
These days TNA and ECW are the places rising talent and those on the way down work on the talent rouster who are still under WWE contract and the WWE doesn't wanna buy out their contracts and flat out fire em and still feels obligated to honor those contracts or face a buttload of legal lawsuits for breach of contract

i think most of the wcw wrestlers that didn't want to join the wwe joined tna
