Does anyone know where all the money that was donated to New Orleans from individuals and the governmnet went to??
Do you know of any websites that breaks down what the money went to?
I live in New orleans and am very curious!! Because what I have seen is people using their OWN money to rebuild. Whether it was from savings, insurance, or a loan.
My family spent our own personal money rebuilding businesses and our houses. I did get $2000.00 at the very beginning after the hurricane hit, but so did everyone else. It was to float people until they could come back.
But I am very interested and curious about where the donated money from individuals (almost 5 billion dollars) and the money given by the government is going or went!!!???????

No offense, but hopefully some of it went to subsidize the cities that got stuck with all the people that you good people are happy to be rid of...namely Houston! I don't mean to be insensitive, because I know a lot of good people were impacted.
