you're going to hear that a lot. you are just start to figure out what is going on around you on a larger scale and who you are. You'll be deep in thought, when someone interrupts you, just smile brightly and say "can i help with something?" as if they were bothering you. when you do that, you disrupt their thought process in trying to get into your head. if they persis in asking about what you are thinking about, as long as it isn't harmful to you (as in you are thinking of hurting yourself.) you don't have to tell them-just say "oh, nothing you would really be interested in" and move on. if they come back to it (of course, at this point i would have to call this person very nosey) just tell them "oh, i was thinking about such and such class, such and such lesson, i am trying to understand and i am having problems" a lot of the times, if it is something mundane, they will leave you alone. Life can be overwhelming at your age, but your best idea is to focus on one problem at a time and prioritize. what to wear to school should (no duh) be on the low end of the totem pole. you, your school work and your family need to be high, you know? and if you go from being a little down to feeling like you want to hurt yourself or kill yourself, don't be afraid to talk to someone. and if they don't listen, or they blow it off as just being a teenager, talk to someone else. keep talking until someone will atleast listen to you. You don't have to feel bad all of the time.

What u are going through is normal.I didn't say it was fun.I said it was normal. All u can do is stop worrying about what people think. Then take day by day and try to keep your mind on your studies. The reason is when u get through this teen stuff u will go to college where it is so different. You want to beable to keep up with your studies and if u don't now u will have a real hard time then. Life is alot easier when u can do something u want and get paid for it. But that takes college.Good luck

its normal at this age to become more serious,,,, contemplate deep thoughts, you have moved past childhood and towards adulthood. as long as your not sinking into depression and thinking everything is negative in the world, you are fine.... its the time for you to think and consider everything, and how you feel about things,,,,, i would suggest if certain things come into your thoughts, investigate or learn more about that thing, or how people think or handle it,,,,,, and finally life can seem overwhelming,, you have your classes , friends, perhaps dating or future dating,,,,you are defining your opinions about life and religion and what type person you wish to be,, alot of life seems uncertain right now,,,,,,,,will you find someone,, will you be successful,,,, etc, just realize that most all go threw this,,,,, it will get better, if you feel to ooverwhelmed talk to someone, a parent, teacher etc...... and there really isnt a reason to go threw life smiling all the time!

Life will constantly seem overwhelming throughout the many stages. However, from time to time you frind reasons that make it more than worth all the hard work and stress. You come across poeple, places, and times in your life that are often able to be viewed as magical due to the way they make you feel and how they lift you. Happiness come with your experiences and even the hardships. As they say, there must always be balance between good and evil. and that applies to all things in life.

It just happens in life. People use to ask me the same questions and still do. Try to make everyday a good day. I know it's hard since are getting older and taking on more responsibilities, but just try to only think about the good thoughts.

I was the same way when I was your age, I am the same way now.
It led me to a line of work and a way of living where I have been fortunate to be able to help save lives and restore a sense of piece in families where they are shattered or broken.
I pray you will find your place in life where God will lead you on an amazing journey where you might be an ordinary person like me, but like me, you will be able to do extraordinary things to benefit others.
Just take one day at a time and in each day, find joy and give that joy to someone else.
Thank God Joy is contagious!
God Bless

It only gets worse hun. Honestly being young is the best. I miss those days but it seems like you may have some depression issues, it may be helpful to go and talk to someone. Good luck and take care.
