looks best with chestnut brown eyes, i just got my new contacts and am so used to having deep blue eyes and am not sure were to go with eye shadow and liner

if they are chestnut brown and you want to bring more attention to them then go with black eyeliner. Brown won't give you what you want. Any color will go with brown eyes. It really depends on your skin tone (though some people will say blue looks tacky with brown though if you only use a little it looks good) Try several different colors. if you don't like how it looks wipe it off and try again. I have a real passion for makeup and like to experiment all the time. If you want to stay natural looking use brown eyeshadows and earth tones. They always compliment brown eyes!

I would go with a brown liner - not too dark and anything with a golden glow-or natural with the shadow

Lavender eyeshadow makes all eye colors stand out! Use some black mascara with it and some liner behind your lashes to draw attention to them.

plum and denim colors look really good with brown eyes! If you want something sparkly then try a goldish color, play up the gold undertones in your eyes!
