How does a flag represent only George Bush again? A country of one, huh? Got it....Isn't George Bush a dirty hobbit? Thank you...NEXT!!!

Wow, I was only joking about burning a flag...however, I am a veteran and I served, so you could drive your big dumb SUV and be an ignorant American. I didn't agree with that, but I served anyway because I love this country. Do not try to stifle my freedom of speech. I won't stifle yours.

Actually, this was a fun excercise. Man, if I'm protesting (which I don't, because it's a total waste of time) and really want to get my point across, I will DEFINITELY burn a flag. Thank you for your help.

Burning an effigy of Bush smbolizes killing Bush-which is bad. Burning a US flag is symbolizing destroying the US. Think about. This is something you do not want to do and that u will regret. There are other ways of protest. Burning an American flag is disgusting and those who do it are not deserving of living under it. Write to Congress, make a sign(intelligent sign), or something. Just dont hurt anyone or burn the US flag.

There is no proper way, you going to offend people when you burn a symbol of freedom and liberty; you should find a better way to protest, would you burn the constitution, cause that is what the flag represents.

You might check with Bill Clinton on this one, because he burned a flag with such style and grace that he was later able to be President of the USA.

Keep in mind; just because you burn a flag does not guarantee you a seat in the White House, but if I recall correctly, it will guarantee better BJs than what they get in the White House.

Good Luck!

There is a proper way when you are doing it to respect the flag & the country it stands for. When you are doing it in protest you are starting from a point of disrespect so no formalities will really change the intent to be disrespectful!

Defiling any flag is offensive to someone! Find a better way to protest, there are tons of ways to make your voice heard. By burning a flag you are telling people that you have to respect for that country and you are breaking the law. There is no common decency in burning a flag, I am in the US Military and I am very offended by this.

Are you kidding me? Any way you burn the flag will offend the people of that country. The flag is something everyone should respect, its your pride no matter from what country it belongs.
So don't do what you don't want done to your flag.
Thank You.

why would you want to burn a flag in protest ? our children have died to defend this country and you want to burn the flag ! You should be ashamed of yourself ! maybe you already are and that's why you can't feel pride in your own country and our flag. I am Not happy with many things in todays government but I feel strongly that there are better ways for me to try and create change than making an idiot of myself and disrespecting our flag our country and those who have founght and or died for what it stands for.

You go to a flag store. You buy a United Nations flag. You suspend it between to poles and put a little lighter fluid on it. Then you light it.

Don't worry about offending me.

There is no proper way to burn to flag in protest. The only reason a flag should be burned is if it has touched the ground and then you can donate it to the boy scouts and they hold a ceremony where they burn them.

You don't! It's disrespect to all our military men and women. Is flag burning the only thing you can think of doing for protest?
