It looks like the Horn of Africa is the next stop on the Jihad Express. I see a pattern starting. An armed faction takes control of a poor, impoverished, war weary nation. Promises peace and law and order, which people initially welcome with open arms. And then the armed faction imposes a strict, orthodox form of Islam on the inhabitants of said country. It was the Taliban in Afghanistan, and now the Islamic Courts in Somalia. Let the influx of eager jihadists to Somalia begin. Ethiopia, which has an ancient Christian population in its midst, is in the crosshairs. What will the Western world decide to do to stop it?

The Western world will do nothing to protect Ethiopia. And I doubt that Putin had anything to do with the death of any Christian in Mosul.
Ethiopia does not just have an ancient Christian population in its midst, it IS a Christian nation. I am sure there are some Muslims in Ethiopia, but overwhelmingly it is Christian. Ethiopia was responsible for the saving of many Christian artifacts, including the Ark of the Covenant! Ethiopia has fought off numerous Muslim invasions and lost many of its people to Muslim murders.

Extremist of any type are always harmful to society... but in present times, Muslim extremists are the worst. Don't get me wrong - I dont hate Muslims and the vast majority of them are totally fine by me. But the problem with Islam is that the extremists end up killing people. This problem of extreme factions of a religion is not restricted to Islam - But the Muslim groups are causing a lot of problems nowadays.
How do I think we should solve the problem? Leave them be. Don't rush into Iraq and hope for change. I'm not saying the US should never go to war or anything, but it's pretty clear that 'terrorism' and extreme Muslim groups have gotten a lot more attention and have grown since we've been in the Middle East. I say just get out of there, bolster the defenses so no bastards can blow up any of our buildings, and stop giving them so much attention. And if we do go to war with them, do it with allies and actually do it to the best of our ability.

Yes well umm wherer did you get this information? Fox news never said anything about it...but I did hear that the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize recipent was a muslim though..
Actually if you know your history Somalia has been predominantly muslim well into the medieval ages...only in the 90s has extremism been rising....there is not christian population in the crosshairs
By the way its funny you mention the Taliban....the USA supported them and gave them control of Afghanistan

They're already trying it over here, by pushing our buttons over putting prayer rooms in airports, in football stadiums, some woman is suing her gym because a patron complained to the management about her bowing down at the gym to pray.
2007 is around the corner, we've got a muslim who just won a congressional seat...
Sit tight because the next stop on that train is the USA.

they've been in Africa a while... Osama reportedly had links to those in Somalia when we were there in the 90s during Black Hawk down and all... and I'm sure he still has links there now.
Several African nations probably have more terror links than Iraq ever did... and several have had insane levels of genocide that go much farther than anything Saddam ever did, as far as body count totals...
Saddam wasn't a saint or anything either though...

We are already in the midst of the war you mention. Just look at the 6 "Imams" demanding to pray (apparently while praising Osama and saying the US is evil) in Airports, and be allowed to act as outlandish as they want in the name of multi-culturalism.
Or look at the muslim woman who demanded to be able to pray while she was in her local Gym.
Can our friends in the ACLU be far behind?
