I think many are very arrogant

Unfortunately Many people think Americans are too insular and this is true in many cases. I visit the states several times a year and its amazing how many people do not understand the rest of the world and current affairs. Many buy only the local newspaper and watch only local news channels. The percentage of Americans who hold passports is approx 20. The lack of knowledge of older civilisations is astonishing and this is compounded by the perception of other races as being ignorant. Theres a lot of good in America but an an awful lot of misinformation as well

I think a lot of AMERICANS think Americans are arrogant... but in America we are free to think whatever we want. It's one of the advantages of being an American. And America scraped itself up out of nothing to form a full, working government on its own... fought and won wars to earn and keep our freedoms... I think we have the right to be arrogant when it comes to our country. Sure... it can get pretty screwed sometimes, but it's still the best place to live. Who cares what the rest of the world thinks about Americans?

yeah the rest of the world hates the yanks. Canadians hate them almost as much as Iraqi's do. but you gotta remember that they aren't all fat loud ignorant arrogant ignoramuses. its just difficult to see that with all the fat loud ignorant arrogant ignoramuses running around shooting their mouths off and claiming they have the best country in the world and that they don't care what anybody thinks anyway, (even though they so clearly do) and electing monkey boy hasn't helped them any either, at home or on the world stage. but there are some nice ones. really. have mercy on them. they have to live there, think how awful it must be for them.

I really do not think that we are arrogant...when you refuse to see your flaws and believe me we have flaws and there is always room for improvement, then I would say that you are arrogant. I think it is kinda funny though that we get talked about like crap but we are usually the first ones out there when people are in need.

they cant do jack about it
we owe 3 trillion in dept which we probably wont pay
and you no what we from history are one of the most
motivated country there is
