Well i got some really bad advice on here. I appolized to my mom for calling her the b word and for laughing at her before she tried to spank me. sunday my dad got home and my mom told him everything i did. we sat down in the living room and we had a talk. we were almost done and i thought i was off the hook. he said because nothing else is working. he told me to go over to him and instead i made a ran for it. i almost made it to my room, but he grabbed me by the shirt almost ripping it and carried me to the living room under his arm. I tried to hit him.

by the time we got there he already had my pants down and then pinned me on his lap then spanked me like 15 times. i cried like crazy to make him stop and he told me that if i don't shape up i can expect this from now on.

i think my parents are mean and stupid for doing this. what do you think? I'm also grounded from my video games and can't go outside. I'm 13 years old.

Be a good boy from now on and listen to your parents. Don't give them any reasons to try and do this anymore.

Good for ur father !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are not acting as an adult when are alone with ur mom, and insult her, dont pretend to be treated as an adult.
That was what your dad tried to say to you.If you act as a child, you'll be treated as a child.
You are a teen....have 13 years old, are living in their house, eating their food, they provides you everything...........the less you can do, is respect them.
Next time, before to insult your mom. think about this.
I'm sure your dad wont do it again, if you act as you have to act.
Your dad is not stupid.....he is very smart, and after some years when you have ur own kids, u'll know exactly what i'm talking about.
When any person makes something wrong, has to accept the consequences........that's what you would have done from the beginning.

Good luck next time

I kind of know what you'r going through, even though for me it was no computers, no video games, no friends, and no biking for a month... This was after i got a huge argument with my dad, where after he pushed me onto the floor i called him teh f word. Now we have counseling and i'm already well on my way to being allowed to ride a skateboard, or bike 3 miles away (in my case a huge privelage). Yeah parents can suck sometimes and i don't blame you. Tell your school counselor that your dad is being a retard (not in those exact words).

I feel your pain -.-

You're not going to like my answer simply because I'm 42 years old. You have no right to call your mother any names like that, and for you to disrespect her by laughing at her, you got what you deserved. You probably got it worse because you ran and then also tried to hit your dad. That's a no-no. If you were my son, you wouldn't be able to sit down for a week. Think about everything you did while you're sitting in your room not playing your video games.

You know, you DO have a problem. It's called not holding yourself responsible for your actions. Your parents punished you for extremely inappropriate behavior and you need to learn to hold yourself accountable for your actions. You will NEVER grow up until you realize for every action you take there IS a responsibility involved. In this case it was RESPECT. You violated that. . . and you were punished. You will remember this. . . and that's a good thing. Hopefully you have also learned that your punishment was a result of YOUR decision. You will not only survive this . . . you will grow from it. Your parents and smart and responsibile. It was YOU that was mean and stupid.

I say right on to your folks!! Slick, if your going to act like a spoiled baby why and the heck shouldn't your parents treat you like one. However, if you were my kid I would have treated you differently. Had you called your mother a B and I found out about it I would have hit you in the mouth!! And if you ever tried to hit me I really would have hurt you!! Thank your lucky stars that you have sane parents. My son joined the Marines when he was 17, he wanted less discipline.

As a teacher of 13 year olds, I have to applaud your parents for being concerned about you and taking the time to discipline you.

lol....thats kinda funny. I cant believe that your parents did that to you. At 13 your parents should respect your privacy and not pull your pants down but you did deserve the spanking.

Parents should NEVER spank there kids. Its hurtful, mean, and teaches the kids that if they are mad or angry that its OK to hit people. When its not. If this continues I recommend you talk to someone about this...It is called Child Abuse...You shouldn't have to put up with it
