It depends on which culture you ask.
In western cultures it can be a symbol of health, purity, and cleanliness. This is why (respectively) nurses and brides wear white.
However, in some Asian cultures white represents death, and is worn to funerals. This can make sense as well if you remember that people who are ill are often pale.

It would depend on what and what culture. On a flag, white can mean purity or wholeness.
It could also be a sign of thr mourning of someones death. The wedding dress is also usually white.

A Favorable type, clean, godly not a laborer. Part of the upper classes. Thousands of years ago White or light skinned meant you were someone of power; kingly or the type.
