i want to write some pictures on a cd, and i bought one that said CD-RW is that good? also do i have to use nero to write them on the cd or can i just right click on a pic and select "send to : CD drive?? help please!!

A CD-R can be written only once. A CD-RW can be written many times (the old stuff must be removed to give room to the new).
To burn (burn == write) the pictures to the cd, you can either use Nero (or any other software like it) or right click on the pic and click on "send to cd". You can't simple drag the files without installing a specific software on the cd (If my memory doesn't fails me, that software comes with Nero and is called InCD).

A CD-R or a CD-RW can be used for pictures. You can do a "send to CD" to put the pictures on the CD. Once you have all the pictures you want on moved to the CD, you have to go under the File menu and tell it to Burn the CD before the picture are actually written to the disk. Make sure you have all the pictures you want on the CD before you do the burn. Once you have burned to the CD you can not add any more pictures.
