Both will look great. Add some colour into your stockings eg. i would wear brown fishnets if i have a brown top...also adds some colour on a dreary winter day!

I would say if you live in California you dont necessarily have to wear stocking but if you are cold then wear them

you should wear black tights underneath because they are thicker than your stockings as long as no one can see you will look good.

save em for spring or summer. its winter now. and i think it looks tacky if you wear capris during winter.

gauchos would be better because they are longer, I just dont think it would look right with the mid calf boots
