I don't believe it's just hormones. Do other people agree with this?

I don't think it's hormones either. I think it's a combination of socialization and the way our brains are wired differently. Women seem to be more detail oriented and perhaps this just contributes to an overal tendency to notice and comment on everything - making women appear more rigid.

No, I don't . For this reason, I've raise both male and female dogs. The males get passive as they get older, all they have to do to change things is growl and they get their way. The females on the other hand, naturally assume a second role to the male(pack order) but they are still more aggressive and protective. They are considerably more active at it, they work at it. The males just figure they already have the size and weight to get the job done. Now, I know, we aren't dogs, but if its natural it can't be that wrong.

It's partly because they are socialized differently, and partly because we live in a society where women's selves, lives and activities are constantly devalued and therefore women have a lot of frustrated rage. In a matriarchal society we would see women being more laid back, I believe.

U know why men are more relaxed/ Here's why we (women) do the cooking, cleaning, child rearing, work, all that, and they play video games or go to bars. Not all men but a majority. We do most all of it. That's why we stress

I agree. I think its because men have been working so hard throughout history, they have seen everything and are tired of overreacting, so they just relax.
Its evident in how there is the La-z-boy, and adjustable seats in the car that recline...all invented my men. Things women invent are the stress ball and make-up...to cover up their faces when they get upset and red.

I agree somewhat. Women seem to be a lot more stressed out from things like trying to look sexy and cleaning and cooking and baby-making and working and all that stuff. plus periods make you kinda nutty at times.

i've noticed that too! i also noticed that men don't even seem to try to be....good looking....good friends...good students. i believe it's an act. guys aren't laid back, they're just really good actors. i believe guy sweat whatever "it" is out before they have to face it. maybe they think they'll look dorky or girly if they let too many people know that they do stress out. then again someguys really lash out if they're stressed.

... cuz men say what's on their minds ... speaking the truth about what you feel takes away all the stress ... woman won't tell ... even when they are dying inside they won't tell anyone how they honestly feel ... and they wonder why they're not as laid back as the men ... it's not rocket science ...

Women think they have more responsibilties than men. When in fact it's about equal, but if something for a woman isn't perfect it stresses them out and a man is happy with what he gets.
