It cost nothing to call them and just ask how they work and also, check on line to see where the strong points are and aren't. I believe they call your debtors and work a program that can be managed and then they take your income, pay your bills and give you an allowance.

Whatever you do, know that a majority of us are struggling and don't give up. You could try to do this on your own, call the debtors and see if there is any way you could get the payment date or amount down so you can manage; then keep a ledger of your income/output, everything.....this is quite an eye opener and will help you shore up the holes. Keep chipping away at these debts, even if you can't pay the full amount, because it will eventually get you on the other side of this.

Good luck, you'll do fine!

If you are having serious problems paying your bills, Then you need to sit down and complete and income and expenditure statement.

Which is a list of things you have to pay and also how much money you have coming in.

Then work out how much you can afford to to people you owe money to, You can speak to your Creditors and explain that you are having a difficult time and that you really do want to pay your debts, Therefore suggest paying in installments at an affordable amount, as long as you stick to the agreement, i.e. you cqan only afford to pay 2,50 per week, then they can not take xaou court and black list you as a bad debtor.

Anyway if that is too much , then go to the Citizenbs advice bureau, Its free and they deal with these kind of issues every day and may even get your debts wrote off, i.e. you don´t haver to pay anything.

If on the other hand, people owe you money and you need help, then e mai j11davidson@yahoo.co.uk

Rememebr the most important thing is that you stay in contact with your creditors and let them know what is happening.

good luck......

Dont do this. It will end up on your credit report as a creditor and other companies you want to get credit with will see that and know that you'v had trouble in your past with bills, and might not grant you credit. Be careful! It may sound like a quick fix, but trust me, if you get help from someone who knows about finances, or just even paying bills on time, you can do it on your own. There's tons of info on the internet about it. Check out www.money.com for some helpful ways. Good luck!

Payplan and CCCS don't charge for advice or their services. I'm dealing with Payplan at the moment and they're a pleasure to deal with. They're very thorough in what they do as well. Hope this helps.

ABSOLUTELY!!! Check out Consumer Credit Counseling. The web address is http://www.cccs.org/
I've done the program, and they were able to get me a budget I could afford. At the end of the program, you are given help to regain your credit. Check it out...they are very legit.
