The man went from hero to zero. His fatal flaw (steroids and human growth hormone) did him in reputation-wise. And he has stuck around too long. Although I am not feeling sorry for the guy in any sense. It is super super hard to feel any sympathy for a multi millionaire and probably future hall of famer.

I wish he'd leave the game, he does nothing but hurt it. He don't respect the game, he just worries about what he can take from it and us (the fans).

heh, heh, Shakespearean, or Alfred Hitchcockian, one or the other.

Barry Bonds has become just an embarrassing side story, yet one which has a potential impact on our whole game. I have about 300 personal opinions on Mr. Lard*aa Bonds...

Did you see the news of him, his agent in Orlando at the Owner's meeting today? He's using the White Sox, and my Cardinals to make the pathetic case for his returning to the Giants another year.
AND FOR WHAT?? TO EMBARRASS THE GIANTS, WITH HIS
STEROID ENHANCED, DRUG EMBELLISHED HOMERUN RECORD? like the Giants are looking for that notoriety.

Bonds is an embarrassment, a shameful and fully exposed example of drug assisted greatness.

Baseball banned Pete Rose, for something he did, outside baseball, outside the game. Should not every voter on the Hall of Fame committee consider Bond's shameful cheating, within the game??

No Bonds fan, at all, here...

"Starting in Left Field for the Giants, but only expected to play there 4 innings, Barry Lard*ss Bonds.
Watch for several pop flies to drop in for hits, just feet from where he stands..!!" Wanker.

It's too bad that Barry Bonds got stuck in the middle of this steroid scandel. But as we all know,we have no control over what people do to and for themselves. He will decide for himself what he wants, which is his right.

The real tragedy of Bonds is that he had the tools to get in the H.O.F w/o steroids. I honestly believe that because of his steroid usage he will never get in.
The vote on Mark McGwires H.O.F. candidacy will reveal a great deal about how the writers feel about the steroid issue and thus the possibility of Bonds getting in.

bonds is on verge of a 1 year 16 mil deal as of tonight according to MLB website. I personally think he will break the record and then quit as he usually does. i have never felt sorry for Bonds. he's mean, selfish and acts like an overgrown child.

Barry is man and he will break Henry Aaron's HR record and then ride off into the sunset with his new team on his back like the steroid filled horse that he is.

If anything its tragic that he is gonna go to the hall of fame. He has brought down baseball so much. Its a league that basically condones cheating.

It's not Shakespearean until he delivers a soliloquy on the pitcher's mound and then drinks poison.
