LIBERALS AVOID PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY NEVER WANT TO HURT ANYBODIES FEELINGS AND FACTS ARE AN "INCONVENIENT TRUTH" WHICH MUST BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS. THEY ARE "TOLERANT" OF ALL VIEWS WHICH AGREE WITH THEM.....OTHERWISE THEY WILL SHOUT AND SLAP YOU DONE FOR EVEN OPENING YOUR PIE HOLE I.E. COLUMBIA U OF NY.

How did "sheepish" get it there? Also, those other words are not antonyms of "tolerant". Other than that, your comments are are generalization that cannot be pinned on the entire group. Furthermore, tolerance is a trait that many liberals do possess, and in fact is part of the definition of the word. And, don't tell me you haven't noticing a few arrogrant, condescending and immature comments by many conversatives on YA?

Many people claim to be things they are not. Our President claimed to be a Conservative, but isn't. The People for the American Way are not.
They all claim some high sounding attributes or noble ones and this is merely to raise themselves in someone else's eyes, usually voters. It is not a new phenomenon and it is not just a trait of the Liberals, though it seems sometimes like they have perfected it.

Not all liberals are like that, but you're right - there are plenty like that. But take heart, there are also some of us who are accepting of all kinds, including the deeply religous and the ultra-conservative.
True tolerance includes the acceptance of all others regardless of their beliefs. Unfortunetly, there are plenty of liberals and conservatives who are intolerant of others.

I think many are tolerant, but clearly, when talking about a large group of people, there will be some bad apples...

I haven't seen what your talking about. You may know some people that act that way, but don't you think maybe that all parties are just about like since we're all Americans. Just different parties that's all.
