Where can I find an article talking about morning showers and how its bad to go outside directly after taking a hot shower b/c your pores are open. I know a lot about it already but I need to have a website to quote. I'm hoping to find a health article rather than something from a message board....thats all i can find so far.

it isn't bad for you at all to shower in the morning. your pores close as soon as the enter a cooler temp anyway, so as soon as you get out of the shower, they close. and having your pores open doesn't cause illness or anything. the only reason showering in the winter can be bad is because people crank up the temp of the shower and excessively hot water can strip your skin of moisture and make is drier.

I was in the UK during winter several years back and I took daily showers in the morning out of habit and I am still alive. How bad can that be? Stayed in a hospital dorm and I know some of my friends didn't take showers because it's cold. Left them with quite a lot of dandruff falling on their shoulders. They also left quite a lot of residue (bathtub rings) after they finally managed to take a bath. Never used the bathtub anymore after seeing that and just stuck to daily showers.

taking showers are good so that you can wash off germs and you wont get a cold. after you shower just make sure you are completley dry.
