Cloning is done through transferring DNA into a fertilized egg cell, after which it must develop in utero and then be born as a baby. In addition, both ethics and technology prevent this from being done in humans at this point. So if I found out I had been cloned, it would be illegal in most countries, a technology break-through, and this clone would be much younger than me (or not even born yet, depending on when I found out). I could probably sue for lots of money if they did it without my consent?? That's probably the most drastic action I would take, if that. I'm sure the media and the scientific community would be taking action though!

Go talk to the clone and see if he thinks like me too.
DNA wouldn't let you clone all the experiences and all else that make up your character. To talk like me you'd have to be brought up like me and work where I worked. A me raised in the US would be similar, but not the same.
Cloning a person like in 6th Day is a very very long way from reality.

Except that she would be 38 years younger than me, and would only look like me, because most of my mannerisms I got thru my environment & my experiences.
I'd want to know what retard wants a duplicate of me, really. I'd have to find them, and have Children's Services come and take the kid away, 'cause they're clearly not competent parents. :)
