ok. i got in a fight at school last week and today the school officer told me that he had assault charges on me cause i punched the boy in the face a couple times and then when the fight was broken up i was on top of him pounding him. and 1 charge for disorderly conduct. but since he talked to people they said it was a fist fight and a huge mess he hasnt had much trouble out of his so he convinced the commonwelth not to continue with the charges so they got dropped. but the other boy didnt get any assault charges cause i was the only 1 punching him.i punched him in the face 2 times and was pounding him on the ground in the face and the ribs. what can happen if i get in a fight again. they said that the charges from that fight will be combined with the charges that were just dropped. so what would happen

The general rule is to say to anyone who is about to start a fight with you, "I don't want to fight you, but if you attack me I will defend myself" Make sure that witnesses hear this. If the other guy throws a punch, beat him to a pulp. Just remember to stop if he stops fighting, otherwise it will be seen as excessive force.

Don't fight, if you do, expect to be charged as a criminal.

it's kinda like going to probation. just don't get into another fight and don't worry about it.
