That assumes the world ends, and the world can mean different things (like entering a super dark age, or complete physical annhilation of the earth?). Where would I like to be when MY life ends? That too assumes a lot. If certain people in my life died, my life, not as a living organism, but as a state of being, would end. Where would I want to be when that happened? I don't know. I don't want to find out. If I were dying, I still don't know where I would want to be.
In either case, I feel this way. On one hand, I would want to be nowhere near my family, because it may cause them sorrow, either with my death or them knowing I had to see them go. On the other, I would want to be as close to the as possible, just to be with them in their or my last moments. So my answer is this: with and at the same time not with those closest to me. Hard choice.

First ... when the world ends ,unless it has a premature demise as from a asteroid direct hit , the world will end very slowly . Now to the point where life can not be sustained on the planet because of lack of oxygen and different chemical compounds in the air , to the point of world explosion will take probably another couple million years . At the point where I will die because lack of oxygen , assuming I am there , obviously will be my soul in another body in the million year future , Y want to die embracing my loved one .

i would want to be alone in a small room with items from my past. I would want to reflect on who i was as a person and apologize for the wrong doings i may have casued.
