The countries that I am associated with (this is not my personal opinion) have stereotyped Americans as being arrogant, tacky, conspicuous consumers who don't have any feelings for others countries beliefs or cultures. Redneck, beer swilling, country and western fanatics who relish Indy car racing and monster trucks. They waste and pollute their natural resources than rob other countries of their. Ignorant bullies. A quote once stated that the united states the they went from ignorance to cynicism without achieving any culture in between.

There are good Americans, for sure. There are some bad too.
With personal experience, I can say that a sizeable proportion of Americans are very ignorant people, unaware of global issues, although thats a generalisation to an extent.
I think most people hate the current US administration and not so much the American people, but they just dont know it.
