It depends on the purchase. For me, I want a house and am going to do it in the very near future, because that's what my heart says...even though it doesn't agree with my bank account! Can you wait another 2 years, if the answer is yes...then wait. Good luck in your decision.

You're not talking about heart but economics, why make an emotional decision today that will put you in a lot of debt when you can wait two years and do the same without debt. Use reason and logic.

Definitely. It depends on what type of financial decision you are making though. When it comes to charity, follow your heart no matter what the cost. But when it comes to buying material goods for yourself, be sure to use your brain instead of your heart. Don't let your heart make those kinds of crucial decisions.

If you are doing something for someone in need, a little debt feels good. If you go in debt for something you want for yourself, you will only feel good for a very short time. Hope this helps with your decision.

In the long run if it turns out to be a disaster yes. Otherwise people would be madly pursuing their passions and the world would be utter anarchy. There is always a balance between desire and need and maturing shows us a way to often reach that goal.

Always follow your heart... the opportunity might not be there in a few years.... the money will fix itself over time.

It depends on how important this is to you. If you think it can wait maybe it can but if you believe that if something happens to make it impossible later and you will regret that you didn't do it then you need to do it now. Tomorrow isn't always there.

Depends on the issue. If it involves building a relation with a significant other, yes. Otherwise, no.
