Taking a image is the opening of Pandora's container because of the fact - regardless of the reasons of the photographer - this is the reasons of people who come after to view / use / exhibit the image who's reasons would be considerable challenge. the challenge is that the reasons of the latter are often ascribed to the former and the former - often the photographer - is blamed for taking the image interior the 1st place. on the muse that without image there may well be not something to react to, that could look honest remark yet does not justify criticising a photographer whose reasons might fluctuate from those of his aim audience.

A photograph has the power to invoke the human spirit. Unearth feelings and emotions long suppressed. It can bring forth empathy and awe, sorrow and glee, pain and ecstasy. the essence of time can be revisited through a piece of paper, a story in a frame.

Well, it depends. Personal photographs (birthdays for example) provide memories. Photographs of the splendor of nature provide us maybe with a sense of mastery of the visual world around us. Photohgraphs of human made things (buildings, cars, I would go so far as to say war) provide a reflection on human nature and say something about ourselves.

they capture a moment. one nanosecond of life that will never be repeated but always revisited. in a single frame a photograph captures the essence of our lives, whatever it may be at that moment. they are so powerful because they are our history frozen in time. i love photographs..... i could say more but i'll keep it simple.

A moment caught in a still frame, that you can look at and remember every moment that happened at that time. Feelings and emotions and thoughts that run through your mind... something one person may not think the same as you on...

Their silent beauty. Photos are REAL opposed to paintings, they show how beautiful the world we live in can be.
