Is it possible that any one word can be a whole stressed syllable?

how? they're all one syllable words! (i.e. in the word "syllable" it would be SY la bull "sy" is stressed.)

single syllable words don't have stressed syllables .... there is no other syllable in the word that would receive less (or more) stress. However, since they are all by themselves, that may put them under undue stress.
