Yeah, it could be da RAM, or it could be da motherboard, try pulling out a stick of da RAM if you have more than one - try downloading da program called Memtest86 - burn it on da CD and then boot da computer off of it, it tests da memory and will show if you have any problems with da RAM.

ok the problem is most likly a virus. it may be in your system 32 files (whitch is your boot up files) and it as infected them along with messing up your registry. well when your registry is messt up the computer is not understandin what to do. try calling support for your computer or look in the manul about this. also, the problem could be hard ware wize. what a computer does is it will restart every time your mother broed detects that a peace of hardware is either working to hard or is not responding to commands o the mother bored. go to http://www.geeksquad.com/ and get some support there. they can help you with about 99.9% of the problems with your computer and they will tell you the problem and every thing. so please try this site. it helped me. why not you.

Ok
Lets start with , the basic wish is , what os you want to install , and then the bios of your systemboard. Now try to switch the mem from bank to the other and last , if that dosent work , its the mem that is welllllllll

Have you scanned for viruses? Sounds a lot like another person on here had a problem with. He had a file called "NvVid.exe" which is a pesky virus. He had Norton Antivirus and this was their fix:

i had the same problem once i had to get a disc and over the phone help to get the disc to run but once you install the disc you may lose all your files on your computer.
